Version 1.4 of Innecto adds split screen multitasking on iPad models that support it, and a beautiful new ‘Modern’ look (selectable in Innecto’s Preferences screen). So why can’t we do this on an iPad? Why don’t games support split-screen multitasking? Now you can. It might be that we play Minesweeper whilst working on a spreadsheet, or Solitaire whilst working on some word-processing. Over the years we’ve all become used to playing a quick game whilst we work on our PCs. Many people have tested Innecto – and we really hope that you enjoy the final result. The game design, code, tile graphics, and segment typeface are all the work of Pascal Harris (45RPM Software) and the music and sound design is the work of Richard Hanson (Highfish Recordings) with additional music production by David Jamieson. There are more than 100 levels and each one is calculated by the computer so no two games will be the same – giving Innecto great replay value.

The difficulty ramps up though – and you’ll need all your skill to get to the end. Innecto seems so easy and relaxing the little tiles twist satisfyingly into place as you race against the clock to complete each board in the least time with the least number of moves. Put the Candy to one side and give your brain a real workout with Innecto. Research shows that too much sugar rots your mind as well as your teeth, making it hard to concentrate.
